To meet the individualized needs of our residents we offer three levels of care: Assisted Living, Intensive Assisted Living and Memory Care. Please note that for their safety and care, residents in Memory Care at Harbourway are offered private or semi-private rooms only.
Services and Amenities for Assisted Living
- Apartment-style living
- 24-hour availability of trained staff
- Emergency call system in every apartment
- Medication administration and assistance
- Three meals a day plus snacks
- Housekeeping twice weekly
- Laundering of bed and bath linen, up to twice weekly
- Several lounges and common areas along with gardens and outdoor areas
- Mobility assistance (hands-on support) to and from dining room and activities
- Planned social, recreational and educational experiences
- Individually controlled heating and air conditioning in each apartment
- Kitchen area with refrigerator, sink, counter space and cabinets
- Routine and emergency apartments maintenance
- Scheduled local transportation
- Blood sugar monitoring and testing services
- Supervision or minimal physical assistance with dressing/undressing as needed
- Supervision or minimal physical assistance with showers, up to twice weekly
- Supervision or minimal physical assistance with personal hygiene
- Assistance with personal management of occasional incontinence
- Daily trash collection
- Free laundry machines on each floor
- All utilities except Internet and telephone services
Intensive Assisted Living Apartment and Memory Care Room levels of Services and Amenities include all of the above plus the following:
- Supervision and physical assistance with showers, up to three times weekly
- Physical assistance with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing daily
- Management of chronic incontinence
- Assistance at meals as needed (e.g., cuttingmeats and using condiments)
- Close monitoring of resident whereabouts and condition, including daytime, evening and nighttime checks
- Support with transfers that usually require one staff person
- Housekeeping three times weekly
- Laundering of bed and bath linen as needed
Extra Personal and Medical Services to Enhance Life at Harbourway
These optional services are made convenient and readily available for our residents, but are not included in the rent.
